Figure drawing blog post

Figure drawing is not always my favorite thing but I definitely feel better in my skill level. I feel as though I am able to capture movement a lot better now have gotten better with searching lines. It is nice to draw form life but it definitely hurts my arms. I wish we had done some blind contour because those are always fun to do. I have done some extra practice in my sketchbook which has been good. It is also good to do to refine some realism skill which I am not always super strong in.

My favorite drawing has to be the middle one, it just has a lot of movement and is the least stylized out of all of them. I like working with charcoal but the cante was also really nice and let me do like shadow lines and stuff. I think using a combination is pretty fun. The first one was a little rushed because I had to leave early that day so I might try it again on my own sometime.
