Barefoot Woman with Oranges
Ink, paint, colored pencil, paper, collaged elements, matte varnish on canvas.
18”x24”, 2025.
I really like this artwork and I like the colors she uses. I know it's more muted and I don't want to do that but it looks cool for this. I also like how abstract the body is and her use of shapes is really good. It's a little more center composition than I really like but it still looks really cool. I also like how there is still movement in the figure even though it is stationary. Also it is cool to see her use of lines and patterns.

This one is very similar to what I have to say about the one above. I like the colors green, blue and orange. It's really pretty and calm. I really like how she did the shoes. Also in this one there is not really a line which is different from what I do and is cool. Also, I like the composition of this one. Also a thing I can learn from this is use of patterns in distinguishing the different parts of the figure. And also with the use of background could be helpful to look at.

This is one piece that reminded me of my duralar sheets. Looking at it gave me an idea to do like three scenes on circles in my style, i don't know if I will have time to do that but mabey. Its really cool to see how she did this not with drops of ink but as a controlled drawing which is really interesting to look at and zoom in on all the details. It also reminds me of one of my sisters friends' work because hers was very geometrical, not that this piece is but they just have similar vibes. Its also cool to see how she does composition on a not figure work, i like how organic it is and just looking at it is satisfying.
