• The responsibilities are to diagnoses and treat mental health disorders. Each individual has a different treatment plans. To be a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) you have to have certification as a Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) with the Art Therapy Credentials Board and successful completion of the Registered Art Therapist Board Certified Art. They also have to have competed a masters level education.

• The college majors that provide training for this career are fine arts, psychology, social work, or counseling. Schools that offer good programs in this area are Easter Virginia medical school and no other ones are really mentioned for virgina. I did not see anyrecognized top programs. Schools not in Virginia that are good for this job are Florida State University. Tallahassee, George Washington University. Washington, DC., and Springfield College. Springfield, MA. To name a few.
